Connecting to Google Calendar

Connecting to Google Calendar

Keep your church's schedule in sync by connecting your EvangelOS events to your Google Calendar. This is a "set it and forget it" integration—once it's connected, we handle the work of keeping your calendar up to date.

This is perfect for sharing your public event calendar with your congregation or for keeping your internal staff calendar automatically in sync.

How to Connect Your Google Calendar

  1. First, navigate to your Settings by clicking your organization's name in the top-right corner and selecting  Church Settings.

  2. Click on the Integrations tab.

  3. Find the Google Calendar option in the list and click the "Connect" button.

  4. You will be guided to sign in to your Google Account. Be sure to sign in to the Google account that owns the calendar you want to use (for example, your main church-office@gmail.com account).

  5. Google will ask you to give EvangelOS permission to view and manage your calendars. This is necessary for us to add and update your events.

  6. Once you grant permission, you'll be brought back to EvangelOS.

  7. From the dropdown menu, select the specific calendar you want your EvangelOS events to post to (e.g., "Main Church Calendar," "Youth Events").

  8. Click "Save," and you're all set!

What Happens Next?

From now on, when you create or update an event in EvangelOS, it will be automatically added or updated in your connected Google Calendar. We handle the syncing for you, so your schedule is always in the right place.
