Generating Giving Statements


At the end of the year, your members need an accurate, official record of their tax-deductible giving. EvangelOS makes this important and sensitive process simple, trustworthy, and efficient.

You can generate and send professional, accurate giving statements for all your members in just a few clicks.

How to Generate and Send Statements (For All Members)

This is your main, year-end tool for sending statements to your entire congregation.

  1. Navigate to "Financial Management" from the main navigation menu on the left.

  2. On this page, find and click on the "Giving Statements" tab or section.

  3. From this dashboard, you will be able to manage the entire process:

    • Select the Tax Year: Choose the year you want to generate statements for (e.g., "2025").

    • Filter Recipients: You can often filter who will receive a statement (e.g., "All members who gave" or "Members who gave above a certain amount").

    • Generate Preview: Click "Generate" or "Preview." Our service will securely compile all the giving data (both online and from your batches) for every member who qualifies.

  4. Once the statements are generated, you will typically have two options:

    • Email Statements: You can send a secure email to your members, allowing them to download their personal statement. This is the most efficient and modern way.

    • Download as PDFs: You can also download all the statements as individual PDF files, which is perfect for printing and mailing to members who prefer a physical copy.

How to Generate a Single Statement

What about when a single member asks you for a copy of their statement in the middle of the year? That's simple, too.

  1. Navigate to "Members" from the main menu and find the person's profile.

  2. Click on their name to open their Member Profile page.

  3. Go to the "Giving" tab.

  4. Inside this tab, you will find a section for "Giving Statements."

  5. From here, you can select the year and generate a PDF statement for just that individual, which you can then email to them or print.

This process ensures your members can always get their financial records in a way that is simple for them and efficient for you.
