Managing Testimonies

Managing Testimonies

Your church community is full of powerful, positive stories. EvangelOS provides a simple way for you to collect, manage, and share these "testimonies," helping you celebrate what's happening in your church.

Just like with prayer requests, this feature provides a central, organized place for your team to handle these inbound stories, whether you plan to share them in a service, on social media, or just use them for encouragement.

How Members Submit Testimonies

Your members can submit their stories and good news directly through their Member Portal. This gives them a simple and accessible way to share their positive experiences with your team.

How to View and Manage Testimonies

As an administrator or pastor, you can manage all incoming stories from the main "Testimonies" dashboard.

  1. Navigate to the "Testimonies" page from the main navigation menu on the left. (This may also be located under the "Communications" section).

  2. On this page, you will see a list of all testimonies that have been submitted. You can quickly see who submitted the story and when it came in.

Working with a Specific Testimony

To read the full story, simply click on any testimony in the list. From this detail page, you can:

  • Read the Full Story: See the complete message shared by the member.

  • Add Internal Notes: You can add private notes that only your team can see (e.g., "Contacted for more details 11/16," "Great story for the next newsletter").

  • Manage Status: You can mark a testimony as "New," "Reviewed," or "Shared" to help your team keep track of what has been seen and used.

This dashboard makes it easy to find and organize the amazing stories from within your community, all in one place.
