How to Add a Family


In EvangelOS, you can easily group individuals into families. This links their profiles, which helps you keep households organized, manage event check-ins for parents and children, and track family giving.

While you can link members together from their individual profiles, the fastest method is to use the "Quick Family Registration" tool.

How to Use Quick Family Registration

  1. Navigate to the main "Members" page from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Look for a button named "Quick Family Registration" or "Add Family" (this may be next to the "Add Member" button).

  3. This will open a simple, step-by-step form.

  4. Step 1: Add the Primary Adult. You'll start by entering the details for one of the primary adults in the household (First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.).

  5. Step 2: Add Family Members. After you save the first person, you'll be prompted to add other family members (like a spouse or children) to the same family.

  6. For each additional person, you'll enter their details and confirm their relationship (e.g., "Spouse," "Child").

As you add each person, EvangelOS automatically links their profiles together as one household.
