Setting Up Check-In Label Printing


A secure and simple check-in process is essential, especially for children's ministry. EvangelOS helps you create and manage custom labels for your event check-in stations, giving parents peace of mind and keeping your team organized.

This guide will show you how to set up your label templates.

How to Access Your Label Settings

  1. Click on your organization's name in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select  Church Settings.

  3. On the Settings page, navigate to the "Labels" tab.

Managing Your Label Templates

This page is your control center for what your check-in labels will look like. While EvangelOS provides a helpful default template to get you started, you can also customize them to fit your needs.

From this screen, you can:

  • Create New Templates: You can design different labels for different ministries (e.g., a simple name tag for "Youth Group" and a detailed security label for "Nursery").

  • Customize Label Fields: Choose what information is printed. This is the most important part. You can add fields like:

    • Child's Name

    • Known Allergies

    • Birthday or Grade

    • A unique, randomly generated security code that matches a "Parent Pickup Tag."

  • Edit or Delete Templates: You can easily update your templates as your needs change.

How it Works at Check-In

Once your templates are saved, they become available to use at your Event Check-In Stations.

When a family checks in using the Kiosk or Roster Station, the system will automatically print the correct labels for each child and the parent's matching pickup tag, right from your connected label printer. It's an efficient way to make your check-in process both simple and secure.
