Communicating with your church is a core part of your ministry. EvangelOS helps you send beautiful, professional emails to your entire congregation or to specific groups, all from one simple and secure platform.
This guide will walk you through creating and sending a mass email.
Navigate to the "Communications" page from the main navigation menu on the left.
On this page, you'll see a dashboard of your past communications. Look for the "Create" or "New" button and select "Email."
This will open the Email Form (or Email Composer), where you'll build your message.
1. Add Your Recipients First, decide who this email is for. You can:
Send to "All Members."
Select specific Groups you've already created (e.g., "All Volunteers," "Men's Ministry").
Manually add individual recipients.
This flexibility lets you send a targeted message to the right people, every time.
2. Write Your Subject Add a clear, simple subject line for your email (e.g., "This Week's Church Update" or "Fall Festival - We Need You!").
3. Compose Your Message This is where you'll write your email. The composer provides you with simple formatting tools, just like a standard word processor:
Bold, Italic, and Underline
Bulleted and Numbered Lists
Add Links
Upload Images (like your church logo or an event banner)
Write your message in a clear, approachable way that matches your church's voice.
4. Send or Schedule Once your email looks perfect, you have two options:
Send Now: Click "Send" to deliver your email immediately.
Schedule for Later: You can also choose a specific date and time for the email to be sent. This is perfect for preparing your weekly newsletter in advance.
Email is a great way to send detailed updates, but sometimes you need to get a message out quickly. Our next guide, "Sending a Mass SMS," will show you how to send text messages to your congregation for urgent alerts or quick reminders.
