Understanding Your Dashboard

When you log in to EvangelOS, you'll always land on your Dashboard — your command center for everything happening in your church. Here's a walkthrough of every section you'll find there.

Stats Cards

At the top of the dashboard, four cards give you an instant pulse-check on your organization:

  • Total Members

  • Events This Month

  • Recent Communications

  • Attendance Rate

Quick Actions

Just below the stats cards, you'll find shortcuts to the tasks you'll do most often:

  • Add New Member

  • Create Event

  • Send Communication

  • Explore AI Features

Church Insights (AI)

The Church Insights card — marked with a Live AI badge — is where Evangel AI surfaces proactive suggestions based on real-time analysis of your data. Insights are organized into four categories: Member Care, Communication, Events, and Giving. Each insight includes a Discuss with Church Insights button to start a deeper AI conversation in context.

Requires the Complete plan (AI_FEATURES).

Pastoral Alerts

The Pastoral Alerts panel highlights members who may need personal follow-up based on engagement patterns — such as a sudden drop in attendance or a lack of group involvement. It's designed to help your pastoral team be proactive rather than reactive.

Risk Overview

The Risk Overview card gives you a summary view of your Member Retention Risk dashboard. At a glance, you can see how many members are currently flagged as Critical Risk or High Risk without having to navigate away from the dashboard. Click through to the full Member Retention Risk page for deeper analysis and follow-up tools.

Upcoming Events

A snapshot of your next few events — so you can see what's coming up without navigating to the full Events page.

Recent Members

Shows the people who have most recently been added to EvangelOS, making it easy to welcome new community members as they arrive.

Recent Communications

A quick log of the last few emails or SMS messages sent from your organization — useful for confirming that a message went out or reviewing recent outreach activity.

Member Portal Preview

A live preview of your church's public-facing member portal, so you can see exactly what congregation members see when they access it.
