EvangelOS offers three subscription plans: Essential, Growth, and Complete. Each plan includes a different set of features designed to match churches at different stages. This article explains what each plan includes and helps you understand which features are available to you.

Essential Plan

The Essential plan is the starting point for churches that want a solid foundation for member management and basic communications. It includes everything you need to organize your congregation, manage groups, create events, and send email newsletters.

Included in Essential:

  • Unlimited member records
  • Family and household management
  • Group management (unlimited groups)
  • Event creation and management
  • Email communications (newsletters, mass emails, templates)
  • Basic dashboard analytics
  • Pastoral care tools (prayer requests, testimonies)
  • Google Calendar integration

Growth Plan

Growth adds the financial and engagement tools growing churches need: online giving, event check-in, a member-facing portal, SMS communications, and richer analytics.

Everything in Essential, plus:

  • Financial Management: Giving records, batch processing, fund management, giving statements, QuickBooks Online integration
  • Online Giving: Stripe Connect for one-time and recurring online gifts, guest giving page
  • Event Check-In: Standard and Self-Service check-in modes, attendance tracking, label printing
  • Member Portal: Self-service portal for congregation members
  • SMS Communications: Text message campaigns and notifications via Telnyx (requires TCPA consent collection)
  • Social Media Integration: Connect Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn
  • Custom Fields: Add church-specific fields to member profiles
  • Advanced Analytics: Giving analytics, communications analytics, detailed demographic reports
  • Planning Center Online integration, Vetty background checks

Complete Plan

Complete is for churches that want the full EvangelOS experience — AI-powered insights, automation, kids ministry tools, and developer access.

Everything in Growth, plus:

  • AI Features: Evangel AI content assistant, member engagement risk scores, AI-generated dashboard insights
  • Smart Automations: Trigger-based workflow automation for member follow-up, communication sequences, and more
  • Audit Logs: A complete log of every action taken in your account — who changed what and when
  • Kids Check-In: Dedicated kids check-in mode with guardian pickup codes and label printing
  • API Access: REST API access and API key management for custom integrations

Checking Your Current Plan

  1. Go to Church Settings → Billing.
  2. Your current plan is shown at the top, along with your next billing date and payment method on file.

Upgrading Your Plan

  1. Go to Church Settings → Billing.
  2. Click Change Plan.
  3. Select the plan you want to upgrade to and confirm.
  4. New features become available immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if I try to use a feature not on my plan?
EvangelOS will show a prompt explaining the feature requires a plan upgrade. You will not be able to access the feature until your plan is upgraded.

Can I downgrade my plan?
Yes. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. Data associated with downgraded features is preserved but hidden until you re-upgrade.

Are there per-member or per-message fees?
SMS messages are billed per-message at Telnyx carrier rates. Contact support for details on your specific plan limits and messaging rates.
