What is the Member Risk Feature?

The "Member Risk" feature is a smart, forward-thinking tool that helps you care for your congregation. It's not about judgment; it's about engagement.

This tool uses Evangel AI to look for patterns in your data (like attendance, giving, or group involvement) to gently highlight members who may be at risk of disengaging from the community.

It turns your data into a simple, proactive "to-do" list for your pastoral team, helping you care for people before they fall through the cracks.

How Does it Work?

Evangel AI securely analyzes your church's engagement data. For example, it might notice a member who was a regular attender has now been absent for several weeks or hasn't been active in a group.

The system doesn't replace your judgment; it simply flags this as a potential pastoral care opportunity, allowing your team to be more proactive.

Where to Find These Insights

You can find this information in two main places:

  1. The Member Risk Dashboard: Your "Members" section contains a full "Member Risk Dashboard." This page gives you a complete overview of all members the AI has identified, allowing you to sort, filter, and manage your follow-ups in one place.

  2. The Main Dashboard: The most urgent insights will also be flagged for you on your main admin Dashboard in the "AI Insights" widget.

What to Do with This Information

This feature is a prompt for your team, not a prescription. When you see a member flagged as "At Risk," it's a simple, efficient cue to:

  • Send a personal, "We're thinking of you" email.

  • Add them to a follow-up list for your pastoral team to call.

  • Ask their small group leader to check in on them.

This smart tool helps you be a more effective and knowledgeable partner to your community, ensuring everyone feels seen and cared for.
