Understanding Member Risk (AI Feature)

Understanding Member Risk (AI Feature)

In a growing congregation, it's easy for individuals to quietly slip away. The Member Retention Risk dashboard uses Evangel AI to proactively identify members who may be at risk of disengaging — so your team can reach out before someone falls through the cracks.

This feature requires the Complete plan (AI_FEATURES entitlement).

How to Access the Member Retention Risk Dashboard

The Member Retention Risk dashboard is its own dedicated page in EvangelOS. Navigate directly to it from the sidebar or via the Risk Overview card on your main Dashboard.

What You'll See

The page is titled Member Retention Risk and displays four key stats at the top:

  • Avg Risk Score: The average AI-calculated risk score across all monitored members.

  • Critical Risk: The number of members flagged at the highest risk level.

  • High Risk: The number of members flagged at elevated risk.

  • Total Monitored: The total count of members currently being tracked by the AI.

Below the stats, the At-Risk Members table lists each flagged individual. From here your team can review patterns, sort by risk level, and take direct action.

How the AI Identifies Risk

Evangel AI securely analyzes engagement signals across your data — attendance patterns, group involvement, giving activity, and overall member engagement. When it detects a meaningful drop or absence, it assigns a risk score and surfaces that member for your team's attention.

This is not about judgment. It's a simple, pastoral tool — turning your data into a proactive care list so you can reach out to people before they quietly disappear.

What to Do with This Information

When you see a member flagged in the At-Risk Members table, use it as a cue to:

  • Send a personal, warm check-in message.

  • Ask their small group leader to follow up.

  • Add them to a pastoral care call list.

The dashboard also syncs with the Risk Overview card on your main Dashboard, so your most urgent flags are always visible the moment you log in.
