Think of the assistant as a knowledgeable team member you can ask questions to, right as you're working.
You can access the AI Assistant at any time from your main navigation menu.
Click on "Evangel AI" in the main navigation menu on the left side of your screen.
This will open the main Evangel AI page.
The page is designed to be your main "conversation" hub with the AI. At the bottom of the screen, you will see the main chat box where you can "Ask Evangel AI..." anything.
Above the chat box, you'll find helpful suggestions and examples, organized into three categories to get you started:
1. Find Information This category helps you find specific people, groups, or events.
"Show me all the members who live in the 70471 zip code."
"Who are the new members who joined in the last 30 days?"
"Find all the events happening next month."
2. Summarize Data Use this to get quick, plain-English summaries of your church's data.
"What was our total giving for the last quarter?"
"How many people are in the 'Volunteers' group?"
"Summarize our attendance for the 'Sunday Service' event over the last 4 weeks."
3. Create Content This helps you with your communications, saving you time.
"Write a short, friendly email welcoming new members."
"Draft a social media post for our 'Fall Festival' event."
"Give me 5 ideas for a blog post about 'community.'"
You can click on any of these examples to start a conversation or type your own question in the chat box.
The assistant is perfect for when you have a question you want to ask. But Evangel AI is also working for you in the background, proactively.
Our next guide, "Understanding AI Insights on Your Dashboard," will show you how the AI brings helpful suggestions directly to your main dashboard.
